There was a shoot-out at the end of the day - we photographed a newly expanded family. This lovely little one is their first baby, and the couple were made to be parents. They were so calm and loving, even during a feeding, diaper change and some crying!

What a fabulous weekend! Thanks to my generous investment banker, I spent this weekend with the amazing Me Ra Koh of Me Ra Koh Photography. She inspiried me by her insights into "Documenting a Child's Life".

I'm not really one to have a great learning experience in a seminar type setting - my best learning occurs by reading and trying things out myself. This weekend was an exception! Me Ra (and her husband Brian, and videographers Josh and Kendall were inspiring and energizing - I can't wait to see how some of the things I absorbed come out in my photography.
